This company has a contract with the government and I worked for them in Greensboro, NC. They have an office in Charlotte, NC and are based in another state. Where would the jurisdiction be?

The jurisdiction is within the state where you were employed. If you are employed through one of the sites in NC, then file suit in NC. If you are employed at their headquarters in the other state, then file the suit there.

Depending on your reason for suing, probably either state. When a company has a place of business in another state, as a general rule they can be sued in that state as long as the issue involved occurred in that state.
